My Story

Exploring the Iceberg - The Metaphor for Life

In his book, Exploring the Iceberg, Paul talks of his devastating trauma that put him into a coma for almost a month.  When he came to he was a low functioning adult, like a six year old.  Paul had to recreate and is rebuilding himself from this trauma.  The Iceberg Strategies detail how Paul found the strength to champion over his current challenges and previous traumatic devastation that impacted his mind, body and soul.

Paul Lamb’s Myers-Briggs Type

Paul is an INFJ.  This type is recognized as the idealist and the counselor and the temperament of Seer/Author.  INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. The rarest of all sixteen personality types with less than 1%  of the population in the world.  INFJs put a tremendous amount of faith into their instincts and intuitions. INFJs have uncanny insight into people and situations. They get "feelings" about things and intuitively understand them. INFJ’s do not really understand their intuition at a level, which can be verbalized. The INFJ is as genuinely warm as they are complex.

Because the INFJ has such strong intuitive capabilities, they trust their own instincts above all else. This may result in an INFJ stubbornness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. They believe that they're right. On the other hand, INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts that they are living up to their full potential. INFJs are rarely at complete peace with themselves—there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them. INFJs are in some ways gentle and easy going. Conversely, they have very high expectations of themselves, and frequently of their families. They don't believe in compromising their ideals.

The INFJ individual is gifted in ways that other types are not. Life is not necessarily easy for the INFJ, but they are capable of great depth of feeling and personal achievement.
